In February of 2007, two caucasian young women robbed a Bank of America in Acworth, GA. Ashley Miller and Heather Johnston earned the "Barbie Bandits" nickname after police released bank video they said showed them laughing and joking behind fashionable sunglasses before handing a holdup note to the teller. It was later determined that a teller from the bank, Herman Allen, and another man, Michael Chastang (considered the "Master Mind") helped plan the robbery.

Today Ashley Miller, convicted of theft and drug distribution, was sentenced to the maximum of 10 years. She has to serve two years behind bars, with the remainder on probation.
She also has to pay at least $2,500 in restitution. Her co-defendant, Heather Lyn Johnston, who pleaded guilty to robbery and drug use charges in August, was sentenced to 10 years probation with community service, a minimum $2,000 fine and $2,500 in restitution. Benny Herman Allen III, who at the time of the February 27, 2007, robbery was a teller at the Bank of America in Acworth, Georgia, also was sentenced to the 10-year maximum. He's required to served five years behind bars and pay $2,500 in restitution.
The "Master Mind", Michael Chastang, faces at least 10 years in prison. As many of you know, Michael Chastang and Herman Allen are both black, and the Barbie Bandits, who by the way carried out the crime are both white.

It shows that although the system is not perfect, it works. It dosen't matter what the skin color is what matters is that bad people are behind bars. The people who engineered the crime should get the most jail time especially when one of the engineers works for the bank that was robbed. How would you like it if someone you hired robbed your company?
Wait a minute, just a second. The "master minds" did get there just punishment. Yet to say that ALL the criminals were justly dealt with is absurd! We not blind deaf and dumb to the truth are we. Conform with cheerfulness to the laws which afford WHO protection? Being honest about it, armed robbery, robbery through trickery, strong armed robbery, and even conspiracy to commit robbery doesn't sing for probation. It calls for time in an institution. Any crime were a person is a danger to their selves or others should embrace time off the streets! You know what it is and my being a mason in good standings does not constitute that I be a porch monkey !
That's a violent crime! White "master minds that rob companies for millions dont get 10 years the majority of the time and that's another fact to snack on and chew!
Am I the only one not getting the big picture. If the tables were turned and the robbers were "black barbies," and the tellers and masterminds of the whole thing were WHITE would the outcome have been the same. Brothers, we can't be that blind, having been brought to light. THINK ABOUT!
Did you really xpect different? Seemz 2 me, the Judge was making an xample. This is how it was supposed 2 end up. How much did they get away with? All is well that endz well, the real outcome hasn't even been revealed.
